Reconciliation Through Social Innovation (RECONSI)
In order to successfully integrate youth from diverse culture and reconcile them based on our experiential learnings from launching Pathways to Reconciliation (P2R) funded by the Canadian Heritage we have adopted the RECONSI initiative. It will proactively engage the Black, Mainstream Canadians, Indigenous communities, and Newcomers (BMIN) along with other youth and diverse group of stakeholders.
Calls to Action
Philosophically, we base our reconciliation as recommended Calls to Action by the Truth and Reconciliation Commissions of Canada (TRC). Since these Calls to Actions were announced in 2015, we decided to Champion Calls to Action # 93 along with others. NEARC Inc. with rigorous consultation with NCTR with Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders/elders, Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth groups, political leaders, and both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities serving organizations, has developed "Pathways to Reconciliation (P2R)" program funded by the Canadian Heritage under their CSMARI initiative.
